Wax

Wax is a kind of matting agent used earlier and widely used. It belongs to organic suspension matting agent. Wax as a matting agent is characterized by easy use, and can give the coating good hand and water resistance, heat resistance, anti-staining properties. However, after the wax layer is formed on the surface of the coating film, it will also prevent the volatilization of the solvent and the infiltration of oxygen, which will affect the drying and re-coating of the coating film. The future development trend is to synthesize polymer wax and silica together to obtain good extinction effect.
